Amy Tennent
Amy Tennent is the Chairperson of VIL Ltd (Velcro Group of Companies), Chairperson of Chartwell Industries Ltd, Director of Minsmere Pty Ltd, and Director of Cripps Foundation and its various subsidiaries.
Amy graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1999 and earned a Master of International Business from Swinburne University of Technology in 2003.
In June 2015, Amy was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Trinity College Foundation at The University of Melbourne. More recently, she was appointed to the Trinity College Council and the Grimwade Advisory Board, named a patron of the Grimwade Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation at The University of Melbourne, and became a member of the Scotch College Foundation.
Amy’s philanthropic work was recognised by the Royal Government in Cambodia in 2017 when she was presented with the Monisaraphon Medal level Theb Din in gratitude for her contributions to building the Neeson Cripps Academy in the Steung Mean Chey commune, Phnom Penh.
In 2018, she was elected a Pepys Benefactor Fellow of Magdalene College, Cambridge.
